A/B Testing (Coming Soon)

This feature is currently under development and will be available soon.

A/B testing (also known as split testing) is a powerful method for optimizing your campaigns. It involves creating two variations of a single element (like a subject line or email body) and sending each variation to a portion of your list to see which one performs better based on a specific metric (like open rate or click-through rate).

How it Will Work (Conceptual)

  • When creating a campaign step, you will have an option to create an "A/B Test".
  • You'll define two versions (Version A and Version B) of the element you want to test (e.g., two different subject lines).
  • You'll specify the percentage of your list to receive each version (often 50/50, but sometimes smaller percentages for initial tests).
  • BuffSend will randomly assign contacts to receive either Version A or Version B.
  • After sending, you'll be able to compare the analytics (opens, clicks, etc.) for each version side-by-side to determine the winner.

What You'll Be Able to Test

  • Subject Lines
  • Email Body Content (e.g., different calls-to-action, opening lines, offers)
  • Sender Names (potentially)
  • Sending Times (potentially)

Stay tuned for updates on the release of this feature!
