Viewing Invoices

If you are on a paid BuffSend plan, you can access your past invoices and review your billing history directly through the secure Stripe Customer Portal.

Accessing Your Billing History:

  1. Log in to your BuffSend account.
  2. Navigate to the Account Settings or Billing section (usually found under your profile or main settings).
  3. Click the button or link labeled "Manage Billing", "Billing Portal", or similar. This will securely redirect you to the Stripe Customer Portal.
  4. Inside the Stripe portal, look for a section titled "Invoice History", "Billing History", or similar.
  5. You should see a list of your past invoices, typically including the date, amount, and status (e.g., Paid, Due).

Downloading Invoices:

  • Most invoices listed in the Stripe portal will have a download option, often represented by a download icon or a link.
  • Clicking the download link will usually provide the invoice as a PDF document.
  • These invoices contain details about the billing period, charges, applicable taxes, and payment status, suitable for accounting purposes.

Understanding Invoice Details:

  • Billing Period: The date range covered by the invoice (usually monthly or annually, depending on your plan).
  • Line Items: A breakdown of the charges, typically showing your subscription plan fee.
  • Amount Due/Paid: The total cost for the period.
  • Payment Method: Often shows the last 4 digits of the card charged.

Troubleshooting:

  • Missing Invoices? Ensure you are looking at the correct date range within the Stripe portal. If an expected invoice is missing, contact BuffSend support.
  • Incorrect Charges? If you believe there's an error on an invoice, please contact BuffSend support with the invoice number and details of the discrepancy.
  • Can't Access Portal? If the "Manage Billing" link in BuffSend isn't working, please contact support for assistance.
